Rio de Janeiro 28/10/08 - Entre los días 13 y 17 de octubre se reunió en Dubai el Comité Técnico Evaluador del Premio Internacional de Dubai de Mejores Prácticas. El grupo de expertos reunidos contó con una significativa representación de América Latina.

El Comité Técnico evaluó las 470 prácticas inscriptas en el Premio, concluyendo en la catalogación de 102 iniciativas como "Mejores Prácticas", una lista corta de las 48 prácticas y 7 transferencias que pasaron a la 2º fase de evaluación.(Descargue aquí la lista de 102 practicas catalogadas como "Mejores Prácticas")
Estas 48 prácticas más las 7 sete transferencias,serán evaluadas por el Jurado entre los días 12 y 14 de noviembre en Dubai, cuando se seleccionarán las 12 ganadoras. El listado de 48 prácticas está formado por 18 prácticas de América Latina, 6 de los Estados Árabes, 9 de África, 10 de Asia, 4 de Europa, 1 de América del Norte . La lista de 7 transferencias contiene 2 prácticas de América Latina, 2 de los Estados Árabes, 2 de Asia y 1 de Europa.
